Subsea Cables Policy Dialogue Series

Description

US-ASEAN Business Council (USABC) proposes a three-part Subsea Cable Policy Roundtable Series. The series will comprise two in-country roundtables and one regional-focused one. Building on the 2019 Telecommunications and Information Technology Ministers Meeting (TELMIN) ASEAN Guidelines for Strengthening Resilience and Repair of Submarine Cables, the Policy Roundtable Series will bring together policymakers, technical experts, and private sector leaders. It will examine the challenges of efficient and effective subsea cable management and identify pragmatic approaches for strengthening the region’s digital infrastructure resilience.
