Description

The US-ASEAN Business Council invites you to a closed-door roundtable with Rafael F. Leonardo, Deputy Assistant Secretary of War for South and Southeast Asia, as part of our ASEAN Defense Attachés Speaker Series. Held with the Washington Area ASEAN Defense Attaché Association (WAADAA), the discussion will bring together ASEAN defense attachés and a select group of U.S. industry representatives. DASW Leonardo will outline the Department's regional priorities, followed by a candid Q&A. The roundtable comes as the Council prepares for upcoming aerospace, defense, and security (ADS) missions to Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, and the Philippines over the coming months. It is a timely opportunity to hear directly from the Department's lead official for the region and to engage with ASEAN defense counterparts in Washington.
