Dear Members,

The US-ASEAN Business Council is pleased to open registration for senior-level executives for the annual 2024 Indonesia Business Mission to be held on Tuesday, December 3 to Thursday, December 5. The Mission will be co-led by USABC’s President & CEO Amb. Ted Osius and Senior Vice President & Managing Director Amb. Brian McFeeters and provide the delegation with high-level dialogue with various ministries/institutions under the new Cabinet of Indonesia

MISSION THEMES

This year’s mission comes at a pivotal moment, coinciding with the 75th anniversary U.S.-Indonesia diplomatic relations and the 40^th anniversary of USABC. As Indonesia transitions to Prabowo’s leadership, the nation is set to redefine its economic priorities amid evolving global challenges. This crucial shift presents an opportunity for USABC and its members to deepen public-private partnerships with the new Government of Indonesia. Therefore, the Mission will focus on the theme “Building a Strategic Partnership between the U.S. Businesses and Indonesia’s New Leadership for Sustainable Economic Development,” with key messages:

1. Understanding Indonesia’s new economic priorities under the Prabowo leadership; offering USABC and its member companies’ support to help achieve the nation’s goal of becoming a more developed and sustainable economy.
2. Building constructive relationships with the new government through exclusive engagements and constructive dialogues while positioning USABC member companies as longstanding partners and resources for the Indonesian Government.
3. Advancing U.S.-Indonesia economic relations under the new Comprehensive Strategic Partnership by fostering public-private collaboration in various sectors and leveraging key milestones of the 75^thU.S.–Indonesia diplomatic anniversary.
4. Bolstering Indonesia's role as a key player in the global economy and supply chain, in alignment with initiatives such as the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework (IPEF) and the ASEAN Digital Economic Framework Agreement (DEFA), among others.
