DESCRIPTION:The US-ASEAN Business Council\, in partnership with the U.S. Embassy in Indonesia\, is pleased to invite you to the Aerospace\, Defense & Security (ADS) Mission to Indonesia\, taking place in Jakarta from December 2 to 3\, 2026. Originally planned for June 2026\, the mission has been rescheduled to December 2026 to maximize participation from senior government and industry stakeholders and to ensure the strongest possible platform for meaningful dialogue and engagement. This high-level mission will convene senior U.S. industry leaders with key Indonesian government officials\, state-owned enterprises\, and industry stakeholders to advance cooperation in defense modernization\, aerospace development\, and security innovation.\n\nThis mission comes at a pivotal moment in the U.S. Indonesia relationship\, highlighted by recent milestones such as the signing of the U.S. Indonesia Agreement on Reciprocal Trade (ART) and the announcement of the U.S. Indonesia Major Defense Cooperation Partnership (MDCP)\, which together underscore a shared commitment to strengthening strategic cooperation\, enhancing defense readiness\, and supporting long-term industrial collaboration. The ADS Mission will provide a structured platform for business-to-government (B2G) dialogue\, sector-focused discussions\, and targeted engagement with Indonesian ministries and state-owned enterprises. Participants will also have opportunities for business-to-business (B2B) matchmaking with industry partners.
